Our take
These RPG12s pack a punch for the price. The 12" woofers deliver solid low end for small to medium rooms. I use them for mobile DJ gigs and they keep up with rock and electronic music. The active design means no extra amp to lug. XLR and RCA inputs cover my sources. Build is decent but the cabinet is particle board, so don't drop them. Also, the peak power rating is optimistic—real output is more like 200W RMS each. For under $400 for a pair, they're a great starter set.
