About this product
The Rockville D12 is a 2-channel power amplifier with 5000W peak and 1400W RMS. It features Class D amplification, XLR inputs, banana and XLR outputs, and built-in crossover, limiter, and bridgeable operation. The unit is rack-mountable and comes with cables.
Our take
The D12 is a step down from the D14 but still packs 1400W RMS. It's Class D, so it runs cooler and lighter. Comes with cables. The built-in crossover and limiter are nice. It drives most passive speakers well for small to medium gigs. The fan is quiet compared to the RPA series. For the price, it's a good value if you don't need the extra headroom of the D14. The peak rating of 5000W is just marketing. Real-world performance is solid for the RMS rating.
